DELPHIAN SOCCER

Season Highlights from Coach Lukas Ott

The varsity soccer team had another strong season, qualifying for the state playoffs for the 5th consecutive year. Led by seniors Yamil Morales and Yahya Abulohoum and junior Bryce McCole, the Dragons played a tough league schedule, winning their final game to clinch a playoff spot.

In the district playoffs, they defeated Dayton 2-1 and fell to Western Mennonite in an overtime, penalty kick shootout. Due to their tough schedule, they earned the lone "wildcard" state playoff spot and went on to face De La Salle North Catholic. In another nail-biter, the Dragons fell 0-1 to end another great season.
