STUDENT HIGHLIGHTS

From the beginning of this school year in August to when students went home at winter break, over 1,367 student volunteer hours were logged.  From as close as the local community to as far away as the communities affected by Hurricane Harvey, their efforts resulted in positive change.

Since September, our 140 Upper School students have read 1,689 books ranging from classic literature like David Copperfield, Atlas Shrugged and Candide, to the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Long Walk: The True Story Of A Trek To Freedom and more.

Our graduating seniors cast their nets near, far and wide when searching for a college that meets their future goals. 86% of our seniors last year got into their first choice colleges including Cornell University, Emerson College, Boston University, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, UC Berkeley, University of Southern California, NYU, Academy of Art University: San Francisco Art School, ArtCenter College of Design and the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland.

Yamil Morales received 2nd Team all-state for his work on the soccer field this year, and he and his fellow team members Yahya Abulohoum and Bryce McCole all made 1st Team all-league. Nigel Mincey, Archie Chiu, Mac Feilmeier and Finn Dayton received Honorable Mention all-league.

Varsity Soccer Players Receive State and League Awards

Lexi Delgado received First Team all-league as well as becoming the 4th player in Delphi Volleyball history to hit over 500 (503) attack aces in a 2-season period. Fellow team members LouElla Taufer and Cat Veliz made 2nd Team all-league and Eva Drazkowski received Honorable Mention all-league.
