Fernanda Careaga

As a teenager, I was scared of rejection. I wanted to stay in a little comfort bubble, but is living in a comfort bubble really living?

My old friends talked about cheating on their girlfriends or getting intoxicated with drugs and alcohol. I took a step back and realized this wasn’t the environment I wanted.

Really living requires people to step out of their comfort zone and try new things.

My decision to study at Delphian became less of a decision and more like a wish come true. Education became about me instead of about my teachers. Education became about knowing the data and being able to apply what I learned in other areas of my life.

Now I am a confident and capable individual. I have become who I wanted to become. I am able to use integrity, responsibility, ethics, and knowledge to handle situations with myself and others. I am ready for life.
