When I started at Delphian I was a shy girl who didn’t talk during seminars or in class. I tried to avoid any situation that would make me talk to staff and students who I was not close with.
However, after about two years, I began to get used to talking to others for practice. Then I got used to doing projects where I had to talk to students or staff. Then, this past year I ran discussion for Headmaster Tea and talked in Poetry and Plato seminars. Talking in front of others has been my biggest fear. The Delphi Program and staff helped me to conquer it.
Now, I’ve reached the magical moment where I feel everything from the past has become the best memory on the path of my education.
